Global law firm Kennedys has announced 97 senior promotions, with notable advancements in its Leeds office.
These promotions come as part of a global expansion that saw Kennedys make 46 legal directors and 51 senior associate promotions across its offices.
Leeds staff recognised with promotions
In Leeds, Kennedys has promoted several senior figures, including Mark Cordingley, who has been elevated to legal director in the Insurance division.
Meanwhile, Liam Bedford, Emma Cahill, and Susan Tindall have been promoted to senior associates within the liability defence team, alongside Rachel Durant and Robert Blair, who have also been recognised for their contributions in liability defence and insurance, respectively.
Success in Sheffield for Kennedys liability defence and healthcare teams
Further down south, Kadie Cooper at the firm’s Sheffield office has been promoted to legal director. Simon Allen, Laki Breze, and Hazel Milner in the Sheffield liability defence team were promoted, as well as Charlotte Orchard on the healthcare side of the business.
Yorkshire was not the only UK region which saw a spate of promotions; the firm’s other offices across Belfast, London, Birmingham, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Glasgow and Manchester also saw promotions.
A great year
Earlier this year, the firm also announced 17 partner promotions, increasing its global partner count to 349, and reported record revenue of £384 million for the 2023/2024 financial year.
