Law firm Gordons, which has offices in Leeds and Bradford and employs 170 people, has appointed Paul Joyce as the new head of its property disputes practice.
Joyce, an experienced property litigation lawyer, joins the firm from Womble Bond Dickinson‘s Leeds office, bringing with him 13 years of expertise in the field.
Joyce’s background includes advising major commercial tenants in sectors such as retail, logistics, and manufacturing, as well as large residential landlords. His broad experience spans arbitration, mediation, and representing clients in various courts and tribunals. Notable clients from his past work include high-profile names in retail and property management, making his appointment a strategic addition to Gordons.
Gordons’ property disputes clients include retailers AO, Card Factory, Iceland Foods, The Original Factory Shop and Wren Kitchens. Other property disputes clients include Evri and Yorkshire Building Society.

In addition to his broad commercial property disputes experience, Joyce has also handled property-related professional negligence cases and currently serves on the committee of the Property Litigation Association North.
