Read all about the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2023
The Yorkshire Legal Awards is returning to New Dock Hall in Leeds for its 24th year!
The awards ceremony—Yorkshire’s premier celebration of legal excellence—is scheduled to take place on 05 October 2023.
As a result, the deadline for submissions this year is 30 June.
We’re currently in the process of revamping the criteria and rolling out a new Q&A format that will enable this year’s independent panel of judges to quickly get to the heart of your achievements.
The categories are available to view—we’ve brought in a new ESG award that will enable law firms in the region to show us their achievements in addressing environmental, social and governance issues, including diversity, equality and inclusion.
There’s also a new personal injury category, in recognition of Yorkshire’s growing capabilities in this important practice area.
We’ll reveal the category criteria and open up to submissions in the next few weeks.
The entry process largely remains the same—all that’s required is between 250 and 1,000 words in total, or a video up to three minutes in length. Both formats must follow the Q&A criteria where possible.
The independent panel of judges is currently being assembled and we’ll make an announcement on who is participating soon.
And don’t forget to check out the sponsors supporting the Yorkshire Legal Awards this year—we have 15 confirmed already!
Finally, we have a new team working on the Yorkshire Legal Awards this year, for both submissions and sponsorship. Check out their contact details here.
