Leading law firm Taylor Emmet has supported one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports by becoming the media sponsor of the Amber Valley Pickleball Invitational, held at the Derby Arena on 7–8 March.
Through its sponsorship, Taylor Emmet helped bring the action to a wider audience by supporting professional live streaming of the tournament on YouTube, alongside live commentary from the show court throughout the weekend.
The tournament brought together some of the best pickleball clubs from across the UK and highlighted the rapid growth of the sport and the strength of its community.
In total, 256 players took part across the two-day event, with 128 competitors per day representing 16 teams from across the country.
Over the course of 18 hours of play, players competed in an impressive 512 pickleball matches, creating an exciting and highly competitive tournament atmosphere.
Taylor Emmet was also represented on the court, with Amy Harris, Head of Property Litigation, competing in the event.
