Stowe Family Law Leeds team members secure local organisation appointments

Leeds-based Stowe Family Law duo Claire Chisnall and Danielle Hutchison have landed significant roles at prominent regional law organisations.

Chisnall, a senior associate who was recently promoted, has taken on the role of treasurer at YRes West & North Yorkshire, while Hutchison, a solicitor, is the new co-chair of the Leeds Junior Lawyers Division (JLD).

Of her involvement with YRes, Chisnall (pictured, left) said “It’s an honour to give back to an organisation that supports family lawyer.

“YRes and the Resolution committee bring family lawyers, paralegals and trainee solicitors that are in the early stages of their legal career together, providing support and a safe space for members to share experiences, concerns and ideas with peers.”

Chisnall continued: “Through my role as treasurer, I hope that this will support the committee and enable them to continue to carry out the great work that they do for local family lawyers.”

Hutchison (pictured, right) said of her role with Leeds JLD: “This is my third year on the Leeds Junior Lawyers Division committee. It’s amazing to see how much the organisation has achieved and how its membership has grown.

“It’s important that we continue to build on what has already been accomplished so that our community of junior lawyers are fully supported throughout this pivotal stage in their legal career.

“I’m proud of what we have achieved as a committee, and excited to see what we can do in the future.”

Rachel Roberts, Northern regional director at Stowe Family Law, added: “Stowe is delighted to support Claire and Danielle taking on these incredibly important roles. Both of them are passionate about supporting the progression and the retention of junior lawyers, as well as being dedicated to their own careers.

“They are both fantastic role models for other members of the profession and I have no doubt that their involvement will be of significant benefit to the wider legal community in Leeds.”
