Rollits LLP, with offices in Hull and York, has recently reaffirmed its commitment to delivering excellence to clients by successfully renewing two major accreditations.
The first accreditation, Lexcel, is an optional yet widely recognised scheme tailored specifically for law firms. It ensures that law firms consistently meet the required standards of excellence in vital areas such as client care, compliance, and risk management. Rollits has recently passed its comprehensive accreditation assessment with outstanding results.
In addition, Rollits was among the pioneering law firms in the region to attain the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation in 2018. The firm has now successfully secured its renewal following a thorough audit and penetration testing, conducted by Mike Wasling, the firm’s Director of IT, and his dedicated team.
Cyber Essentials is a government-endorsed cybersecurity standard that equips organisations with safeguards against common cyber threats.
Mike said, “We take the safety of our systems and data extremely seriously, and we implement highly robust security methods to ensure that our clients have confidence in working with us.
“Cyber Essentials Plus is a critical part of our security strategy ensuring that clients can have confidence in entrusting their data, money and information to us”.
Ralph Gilbert, Managing Partner of the firm, said: “Both standards support our commitment to be the best we can be in terms of safeguarding clients and providing the best client care.”
Ralph added: “We are delighted to secure Lexcel re-accreditation because not every firm submits to what is a very intensive assessment, and not all of those who do are successful. Cyber Essentials Plus is another important standard and has become a vital element of our compliance as cybercrime is on the rise, and law firms are a prime target.
“Both accreditations help us in various areas of our business including insurance renewal but most of all they send a message to our clients that we are working to the highest standards and providing them with the most thorough protection.”
Established in 1841, Rollits a Yorkshire-based commercial law firm with 22 partners, and offices in Hull and York.
