Emma Rennison has qualified as a solicitor and joined the family law team at Yorkshire law firm Lupton Fawcett, underlining its commitment to nurturing new talent.
Rennison originally joined Lupton Fawcett with an undergraduate degree in law. While gaining experience across all legal specialties, she completed a legal practice course with a combined LLM master’s degree in professional legal practice at the University of Law in Leeds, graduating with distinction in August 2019.
She has now qualified into the family department at Lupton Fawcett.
As a member of the family law team, Rennison advises on a range of family matters from representation in divorce proceedings and financial disputes to representing clients in a broad spectrum of matters relating to children.
She also advises on cohabitation disputes, including trust of land claims and domestic abuse work.
Chris Burns, head of family law at Lupton Fawcett, said: “Congratulations to Emma on this fantastic achievement. She has already gained considerable experience while training with the firm and we are delighted that she has chosen to specialise in family law.”
“Young talent is the lifeblood of our business, which is why we are so committed to bringing through the next generation of talent.”
