Leeds-based law firm Capsticks has named Keith Blundred as the new head of its Leeds office.
Blundred, who joined Capsticks as a partner in 2022, has become a visible leader in the team and has worked on various developments with his predecessor, Lisa Geary.
Together they have implemented office initiatives designed to connect the various teams, including breakfast club, theatre club and quiz socials.
Going forward, Keith has plans to continue to take the Capsticks Leeds team from strength to strength.
Geary has been head of Capsticks Leeds office since May 2019 and has made significant contributions in that time, such as taking the lead in keeping the team connected and morale high during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On his new appointment, Blundred commented: “I’m pleased to be appointed as the next head of the Leeds office.
“I’m passionate about the people that work at Capsticks, particularly the team in Leeds and I’m excited to continue ensuring that the team here has a balance between work, social engagements and other initiatives that allow for different teams to meet and integrate. A close-knit, looked-after team, means our clients have the best client experience.”
Martin Hamilton, managing partner at Capsticks, said: “I look forward to the initiatives and plans Keith will be bringing to the table as he takes on this additional responsibility.
“One of our values is People First and that undoubtedly embodies our teams as well. We want the teams in each of our offices to feel connected and part of the firm.”
