In a resounding celebration of Yorkshire’s legal prowess, Hannah Strawbridge, the founder and CEO of Halifax-based Han Law Co, has been given the esteemed title of Entrepreneurial Businesswoman of the Year.
The recognition comes courtesy of the Great British Businesswoman Awards and further cements Yorkshire as a centre of innovation and excellence.
The Awards honour and spotlights women leaders who are driving innovation and excellence across various sectors nationwide. Out of over 600 contenders, 22 exceptional individuals were recognized for their outstanding contributions.
Hannah said, “I am incredibly proud to have scooped this award and still a little in shock! Han Law Co was the only law firm in the room, and I was the only lawyer to receive an award – which I collected on behalf of the amazing Han Law team.”
In her remarks, Hannah emphasised the importance of pushing boundaries within the legal profession, encouraging fellow lawyers to embrace creativity and challenge conventional norms.
“Ambitious women can have a family and be successful,” she asserted, serving as an inspiration to aspiring professionals in the legal field.
Reflecting on the accomplishments of 2023 and the promising outlook for the year ahead, Hannah expressed her gratitude to her dedicated team and outlined ambitious plans for the firm’s expansion.
Hannah said, “Everyone in the team works tirelessly to deliver the best possible services to all our clients, and it is my job to support them, which enables them to be the best at what they do.
“I’m excited about the year ahead. I have ambitious plans to work with more national and international clients and to grow the firm further.”
Established in 2019, Han Law Co is a employment law consultancy comprising a mix of legal and HR professionals with over 200 years of combined experience. The firm has an office in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
