A lawyer at Knights in Leeds has been named Trainee Solicitor of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards.
Pippa Bradley, who qualified into the firm’s Employment team in September, was recognised as Yorkshire’s top trainee solicitor for her outstanding contribution, talent and dedication during her training contract.
During her time as a trainee solicitor at Knights, Pippa worked closely with the employment team, honing her skills in legal research, drafting strategic client advice, defending complex Tribunal claims and delivering in-house training to clients in the travel, retail, hospitality and manufacturing sectors.

As well as this, she was selected for a 3-month in-house secondment at Flutter Entertainment PLC (which owns brands such as Sky Bet and PaddyPower), joining the Commercial legal team, broadening her commercial understanding and market awareness.
The Yorkshire Legal Awards celebrate the excellence, innovation and achievement of the very best legal talent in the region.
On her award win, Pippa said: “It’s an amazing feeling to have been recognised for my work with this award.
“Throughout my training contract, I’ve had the chance to get involved with a wide range of work, from building client relationships, working on business development and hosting seminars for clients and colleagues.
“Knights’ culture and ethos have really played a huge part in shaping me into the lawyer I am today. They give junior lawyers the chance to learn, grow and really make an impact, and I’m really excited to continue my legal career at Knights.
