Wrigleys Solicitors Announces Key Promotion in Court of Protection Department

Wrigleys Solicitors has announced the promotion of Charlotte Dyson to joint head of the Court of Protection department.

Charlotte, is a partner in the Court of Protection department & a director of Wrigleys Trustees Limited, where she acts as trustee, attorney, and court-appointed Deputy. In this role, she is responsible for managing complex property and affairs issues, often in conjunction with personal injury litigation.

In addition to her day-to-day legal practice, Charlotte is a deputy member of the Professional Deputies Forum, a recommended adviser for SCOPE and MENCAP, and a Dementia Champion. She also personally acts as a professional Litigation Friend in personal injury cases, working closely with litigation firms and counsel’s chambers specialising in catastrophic injury claims.

Commenting on her promotion, Charlotte said: “I am honoured to take on this role. The firm has an impressive reputation for Court of Protection work, and it remains a privilege to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team.

This announcement comes alongside another significant achievement for the firm’s Court of Protection department, which has been reappointed by the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) as an approved professional panel deputy. This reappointment highlights the department’s unwavering commitment to offering expert, compassionate support to vulnerable individuals and their families.
