Winston Solicitors supports local charities with bi-monthly meet-up

The LS8 meet-up was incepted in early 2023 and has since evolved into a thriving local networking group. The meet-up is dedicated to fostering strong business connections and making a positive impact within Leeds.

Winston Solicitors, an established Leeds law firm, has sponsored the group since its inception. Their support has played a pivotal role in facilitating the events and ensuring accessibility for a diverse range of local businesses. Meet-ups take place at the Leeds Deli in Roundhay, which provides a welcoming atmosphere alongside their delicious breakfast.

The LS8’s meet up’s belief is that “people buy from people”. The group’s primary objective is to create a close-knit community where local businesses and professionals actively support, engage and collaborate with one another.

The bi-monthly breakfast ‘meet-ups’ offer a relaxed platform for members to develop lasting relationships, exchange ideas and contribute to the economic growth of north Leeds.

The group prides itself on its informal approach. They strive to create an atmosphere that encourages authentic connections to flourish.

LS8 meet-up is increasing in popularity, there is now a growing waiting list to join its events.

Winston Solicitors prides itself on giving back and supporting the wider Leeds community by raising money at each event. To date, the group has raised £450 for five local Leeds charities, including Leeds Mind

Teresa Davidson, a partner at Winston Solicitors, is the driving force behind the group. She shared her enthusiasm for the group’s progress: “We’re thrilled with the growth and success we’ve achieved in such a short time. It’s testament to the incredible businesses and professionals in north Leeds and their dedication to strengthening our local community. We look forward to continuing to build valuable connections and making a positive impact.”
