Wilkin Chapman adds new solicitor to dispute resolution team in Beverly

Solicitor Steve Pattison has joined the dispute resolution team at Wilkin Chapman.

Pattison will be based in the firm’s Beverly office. This follows hot on the heels of the appointment of new corporate and commercial partner, Nasim Sharf.

The new Wilkin Chapman solicitor, who has six years of legal experience in the region, worked for a major pub chain in Dorset for six years before moving into law and back up North to complete his studies in Hull.

He also has a higher education diploma in European social policy and politics from the University of Lincoln.

Recalling his decision to change careers, Pattison said: “I wanted a different challenge and returned to the north, and to Hull, to obtain my law degree, working part-time as a chef to fund my studies.”

Of his move to Wilkin Chapman’s dispute resolution team, Pattison said: “I was given this opportunity to further my career and I am delighted to do so.”

“There are some very, very good opportunities to grow with the team in Beverley, covering the whole of the Hull and East Riding regions. It is going to be extremely rewarding to play a part in that development.”

Sharf recently joined Wilkin Chapman to assist the firm with developing its corporate and tax business across East Yorkshire, the Humber, York and Lincolnshire.

The firm also recently named Andrew Holt as its new senior partner.
