Ware & Kay Solicitors’ Sian Foster admitted to full membership of STEP

Sian Foster, a solicitor at Ware & Kay Solicitors, has been admitted to full membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

York-based Foster, who qualified in 2007 and joined Ware & Kay in 2015, spent three years writing three 5,000-word papers to qualify. She researched and wrote them around her work commitments.

Foster is also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, an organisation which is committed to provided specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people. She will now be able to add STEP’s internationally recognised qualification to her name, demonstrating her practical and detailed understanding of the law and the procedures involved in trust and probate procedure, tax and accounting.

Senior director Peter Kay said: “Well done Sian! Her hard work and dedication is clear to see. This new qualification underlines our commitment to ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of legal service”.
