Trinity Chambers Appoints Tom Prideaux as New Chief Executive

Trinity Chambers has appointed Tom Prideaux as Chambers’ new Chief Executive, replacing former CEO, Tim Harris following his departure earlier in December.

Tom joins Trinity from senior roles with PwC and the British Army, and brings extensive experience in strategic leadership, organisational development and the integration of human and digital workforces. His background includes leading complex transformation programmes, supporting government and the private sector, as well as coaching emerging leaders.

As part of Trinity’s Executive Board, Tom’s role will include leading the strategic direction, corporate governance and operational delivery across Chambers.

Commenting on the appointment, Deputy Head of Trinity Chambers, Richard Stubbs, said: “We warmly welcome Tom to Chambers in his role as Chief Executive and are looking forward to working with him. Through his previous roles with PwC and the Army, Tom brings a great depth of skills, knowledge and experience which fill us with confidence that he will make a real success as Chambers’ Chief Executive. His appointment follows an extensive recruitment process in which Tom was the preferred candidate of several outstanding applicants and reflects Trinity’s recent growth and incorporation as we continue to adapt and improve in order to meet the current and future demands of our growing number of clients.”

Tom said of the appointment: “I am delighted to be joining a talented and ambitious team at Trinity Chambers and to carry on Tim’s work. I look forward to bringing my experience to bear to enable continued growth and development whilst protecting our reputation for quality and trust.”

In addition to his professional experience, Tom is actively involved in local youth initiatives and maintains a strong interest in outdoor pursuits. His family life has also shaped his approach to communication and adaptability, influenced by his experience as a father to three daughters, two of whom are deaf.

Tom’s arrival contributes to a significant period of ongoing development for Trinity which now has more than one hundred practising members across its Chambers in Newcastle, Leeds and Middlesborough. Reflective of its growth aspirations, Chambers currently has five pupils who have recently started pupillage. In addition, a four-strong, dedicated fees clerking team has been established to enhance service quality and drive efficiencies. Additional investment includes the refurbishment of Trinity’s historic Custom House on Newcastle’s Quayside, scheduled for completion in early 2026.
