Leeds-based Travlaw has added Bilkis Mahmood to its commercial and corporate governance team.
Mahmood (pictured) joins the specialist travel and leisure law firm as a senior associate and will support partner Emma Shakespeare and the existing team in the Horsforth office.
Travlaw’s new senior associate qualified in 2003, going onto work for various Legal 500 and medium-sized firms, as well a local council legal department. Mahmood then ran her own firm for a number of years.
Mahmood was also shortlisted for Woman Solicitor of the Year by the Law Society of England and Wales in 2018 and has won a number of awards, including services to law and for commercial property work.
