Torque Law appoints new solicitor in York

York-based Torque Law has appointed another employment consultant solicitor to its team.

Tori Jackson has joined the firm from Alpaca, a professional services business in Leeds, having previously worked as an associate at Addleshaw Goddard and Genus Law.

The appointment of Jackson follows a recent relocation for Torque Law to larger premises at Northminster Business Park in York as part of its ongoing expansion.

Established in 2016, Torque Law founding partners Tiggy Clifford and Emma Whiting have more than 30 years experience in employment law. They set up the firm in response to the growing numbers of small business owners in need of employment law advice.

Commenting on the appointment, Whiting said: “Tiggy and I are delighted to welcome Tori to the team. Tori is an experienced practitioner and a very safe pair of hands. In the short space of time that she has been with us, she has got off to a flying start and we’re confident she will make a fantastic addition to team Torque.”
