Thrive Law strengthens national presence with new solicitor appointment

Leeds-based specialist employment practice Thrive Law has strengthened its national presence with the appointment of a consultant solicitor in London.

Tanya Dolan (pictured) will be based in London and will focus on the commercial HR and employment law sectors.

Prior to joining Thrive Law, Dolan worked with the Law Society in connection with the launch of its Women in Law Pledge last year and she is currently working on the development of the Law Society’s new Diversity & Inclusion Charter.

She is also a board member of the Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter, a member of the Women in Work All Party Parliamentary Group and a LawCare volunteer.

Her legal specialisms include unfair, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, discipline and grievance procedures, employment contract drafting and disputes, redundancy, corporate restructuring, and settlement negotiation.

Commenting on Dolan’s appointment, Thrive Law managing director Jodie Hill said: “With 15 years of post-qualification experience, including as the UK’s lead on the International Aviation Women’s Association, Tanya is perfectly placed to build on our growing reputation as a national specialist employment law practice.”

Thrive Law expanded last summer with the appointments of Alicia Collinson, Keith Williams and Uthman El Dharrat.

Later in the year, Thrive Law successfully trialled a four-day working week and implemented the scheme as a permanent option for employees for 2020.
