Thrive Law makes first partner appointment

Solicitor Tom Stenner-Evans has joined Leeds-based Thrive Law.

Stenner-Evans is Thrive Law’s first partner appointment, and his addition is pivotal to the firm’s strategic growth plans.

Before joining Thrive Law, Stenner-Evans spent more than 13 years at Michelmores, a national law firm, where he was a partner in the employment law team.

He is an experienced employment law specialist, with expertise in a number of sectors, including education, retail and charities.

He was also a member of the firm’s diversity and inclusivity committee, trainee recruitment panel and mentoring scheme.

Jodie Hill, founder and managing partner at Thrive Law, said: “ I am delighted to welcome Tom to the team, he has a real passion for diversity and inclusion and is really aligned with our values. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and will be an asset to the team as we continue to grow.”

Stenner-Evans is passionate about progressive leadership, workplace culture and wellbeing at work, all of which influenced his decision to join Thrive Law.

He said: “When I was deciding on the next chapter in my career, I was fully expecting to end up working on my own. However, after speaking with Jodie, and hearing how aligned her values are with mine, I knew that it was the right place for me to be. Her reputation precedes her and I am excited to be joining her team. I am confident that we can provide an exceptionally good offering to clients, whilst also taking steps to help change the legal profession for the better.”
