Shulmans has completed the purchase of a multi-million-pound property investment in Central London.
The law firm, acting on behalf of its offshore client, Skyline, was instructed to handle all legal proceedings around the purchase of 25-26 Poland Street in Soho, in a deal worth £13 million.
A team of Leeds-based real estate law specialists at Shulmans, including partner and head of the commercial property unit, Simon Jackson, together with Peter Woods and David Ryan, were involved in the purchase.
The team was created in order to deal with the complexity of the purchase and funding, and to undertake all of the due diligence within a very tight timescale.
The purchase marks the latest addition to Skyline’s global property portfolio worth in the region of £500 million.
Jackson (pictured) said: “The purchase of the prestigious premises in Central London is an important addition to our client’s property portfolio in the capital. The investment contains in the region of 10,000 square foot of premium retail and office space.”
