Secerna LLP, an intellectual property law firm, recently hosted its fourth annual taster day. The event gave undergraduate students a rare chance to explore patent law and experience the IP industry firsthand. The day aimed to inspire and empower future patent attorneys by offering a glimpse into the work of a patent attorney within a private practice firm.
Five undergraduates took part in practical exercises that highlighted key skills needed for client projects. They also had the opportunity to interact with and shadow Secerna team members. This experience provided valuable insights into the daily responsibilities of a patent attorney and the path to qualification.
