Schofield Sweeney has renewed its partnership agreement with the Huddersfield Giants for the fourth consecutive year.
As the rugby league club’s legal partner, Schofield Sweeney has agreed to a two-year partnership deal to cover the 2018 and 2019 rugby league seasons.
“Both parties are excited about the prospect of working together again,” the law firm said in a statement.
The partnership agreement follows Schofield Sweeney’s office relocation to Huddersfield Town Centre earlier this year.
The Huddersfield Giants have “a great commitment” to corporate social responsibility within the local community of Huddersfield, Schofield Sweeney said.
Rob Kelly, partner at Schofield Sweeney, commented: “I am delighted that we have renewed our partnership with the Huddersfield Giants. It is imperative that we support our local businesses and sports clubs.”
“The Giants have come a long way in the history of the sport and are proud ambassadors in the town where Rugby League was born. I am looking forward to developing our relationship further.”
Huddersfield Giants managing director Richard Thewlis added: “We have had an excellent working relationship with Rob and the team at Schofield Sweeney and it’s a delight to extend our partnership for a further two years.”
“Wherever possible we try to keep our business local and I look forward to continuing to introduce the Schofield Sweeney brand and people to our clients both in the stands and the boardroom as I believe they offer a great service to anyone in this area.”
