Ridley & Hall gears up for £7million growth push ahead of centenary year

Yorkshire based law firm Ridley & Hall has announced the appointment of Vicky Medd as its first-ever executive partner as it aims to hit £7million turnover in line with its upcoming centenary in 2027.

Ms Medd, a partner solicitor in the firm’s family and matrimonial team since 2012, will now work closely alongside the firm’s board of shareholder directors to spearhead the ongoing growth of its family team.

Emma Pearmaine, managing director at Ridley & Hall, said: “Our current board of directors has achieved excellent growth since forming in 2017, increasing turnover from £1.5million to £5.5million and taking our employee headcount from 50 staff to a team of 120 across offices in Huddersfield, Leeds, Barnsley and Pontefract.

“We’re delighted Vicky will now be working even more closely with the board in the newly-created role of executive partner – a position that will be crucial in supporting both business strategy and operations as part of our drive to hit £7million turnover in 2027 as the firm celebrates its centenary.”

Vicky Medd said: “The firm has made significant recent investment in establishing a central infrastructure to set us up for future growth – including bringing finance, HR, marketing and IT functions in-house and investing in a new IT infrastructure, case management system and management software.

“I’m delighted to step into the role of executive partner to support the delivery of our next growth phase and help bring the exciting plans backed by these investments in people and processes to fruition.”
