Pryers awarded band 1 status in new Chambers and Partners rankings

Pryers Solicitors has been awarded the band 1 status in the latest Chamber and Partners rankings for the first time.

Pryers’ strong placement is due to numerous factors with Chambers and Partners picking up on how the firm is “always one step ahead of the other parties” and how it operates as a strong and cohesive across all departments. It also gave the firm merit for taking on a vast selection of cases that have completely different ranges of complexity and values.

The publication also appreciated three of the York-based firm’s practitioners. Robyn Hawxby was praised for her “very tenacious approach” and Chambers and Partners said that she was “particularly good at ensuring that the client gets the right level of compensation” and that she was “prepared to fight hard for that”.

It said that Amy Crundell puts “a lot of effort into cases and her clients” and noted that Richard Starkie is “very diligent and intelligent”, which had earned him “a robust reputation in the market”.

“He has considerable expertise in both product liability and clinical negligence, bringing both to bear on major group claims concerning faulty medical devices,” added Chambers and Partners.
