Prosperity Law, which has offices in Leeds, has announced the appointment of Rebecca Townsend.
Prosperity Law has announced the appointment of Rebecca Townsend as its newest partner and head of employment law in Leeds.
Bringing 25 years of experience in employment law, Townsend joins from her own firm, which she founded in 2008. She will now lead Prosperity Law’s Leeds-based employment department, advising employers and employees on a broad range of workplace legal matters.
With a career that spans advising large private sector businesses and public bodies, including the Police Federation of England and Wales, Townsend’s expertise covers high-profile, complex cases. Her background also includes lecturing at Leeds Trinity University College

Her arrival comes at a pivotal time for employment law. With the new Labour Government pledging to implement the Employment Rights Bill, businesses are expected to face significant regulatory changes.
