Yorkshire law firm Pepperells Solicitors has received more than 10,000 items for NHS workers who are dealing with the worst of the coronavirus pandemic on a daily basis.
Pepperells, which has offices in Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Lincoln, has spent the past five weeks collecting donations for NHS workers.
The firm now has 16 doorstep collection points and the support of retailer B&M. With this help, the firm has been able to distribute more than 10,000 items to local hospital wards and community health workers.
Among the key items collected for NHS workers are toiletries, face masks, aprons, hand creams, lip balms, hand sanitiser, car seat covers, surgical gloves, face shields and blue roll.
