Mills & Reeve corporate deals hit £300m mark

Mills & Reeve is looking to expand its corporate team in Leeds after securing client wins and advising on deals worth more than £300 million in the past 12 months.

The deals include several multi-million-pound transactions for a leading healthcare provider.

The team at Mills & Reeve also advised on AIM flotations, raising funds for public companies, private-equity backed deals in the insurance sector, and transactions in multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, South Africa, the US and India.

The law firm has also secured new clients, particularly in the healthcare, insurance and technology sectors.

Mills & Reeve launched its corporate team in Leeds four years ago. It’s currently led by Paul Johnson, who joined from Irwin Mitchell. Johnson said the firm is actively recruiting at all levels in Leeds to meet growing client demand.
