Leeds employment specialist among promotions at Capsticks

Capsticks has promoted 22 of its lawyers, including Alistair Kernohan in Leeds.

Based in Leeds, Kernohan is a member of the employment team and advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law in the healthcare sector.

As well as dealing with complex employment tribunal cases, Kernohan regularly advises healthcare organisations and provides support to their HR teams on a variety of issues, including policy reviews, organisational change, collective consultation, redundancy, complex disciplinary and grievance issues, and whistleblowing .

He has particular experience of advising commissioners and providers on a variety of Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations matters.

Kernohan’s London-based employment team colleague, Paul McFarlane, along with Neha Shah and Sunita Raja in the real estate team, have also been promoted to partner at Capsticks.

Capstick has also promoted six lawyers to the role of legal director and 12 to the role of associate across the firm.
