Yorkshire-based entrepreneur Peter Mangion, the CEO of Assisi Pet Care Group, a premium pet food and treats producer, has joined forces with Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
Assisi Pet Care Group, headquartered in Melton Mowbray, is known for its premium pet products, which are distributed throughout the UK and Europe. The company’s two natural treat production facilities in Poland are integral to its operations. It serves a range of customers in grocery, e-commerce, and pet specialty sectors with both branded and private label products. Founded in 2020, Assisi was established to acquire and grow leading pet food and treat companies with established reputations.
