Langleys strengthens with apprentice appointment

Langleys Solicitors has appointed 18-year-old Rhianne Nurse to its apprenticeship scheme.

Nurse has joined the law firm as a trainee risk and compliance auditor. She will study business administration at level 3, with her training provided by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

The new Langleys apprentice, who is a former business studies student at Selby College, said: “I enjoyed being at college, but felt it was important to get some real work experience and learn new skills within an office environment while gaining my level 3 business qualification.”

Clare Brown, HR partner at Langleys Solicitors, said: “As an established employer in York and Lincoln, we are keen to provide opportunities that give individuals a real flavour of the working environment while at the same time achieving their chosen qualification.”

At the beginning of 2018, Langleys brought in a new business development team to drive growth and break into the UK’s top 100 law firms.

They were charged with enhancing the firm’s customer relationship management, digital marketing, events and public relations capabilities.
