Switalskis’ new dedicated inheritance disputes service aims to meet growing demand.
Switalskis has introduced a dedicated inheritance disputes service to meet the growing need for expert legal support in cases involving wills, trusts, and inheritance.
This new service responds to a significant increase in inheritance disputes across Yorkshire, driven by factors such as complex family dynamics, generational wealth, the impact of the pandemic, and financial pressures, according to recent Ministry of Justice statistics.
Switalskis has appointed Sandra Kowalska (pictured), an experienced inheritance disputes solicitor, to lead the new service. With over six years of experience in this field, Sandra will be developing the team, focusing on providing compassionate and expert support to families dealing with inheritance issues after a loved one’s death.
Sandra began her career specialising in inheritance disputes in 2018 and has recently completed the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) course. She said, “Demand for inheritance disputes expertise is increasing, yet Yorkshire has limited dedicated legal teams in this area. Handling a dispute after a loved one’s passing can be incredibly stressful, and I’m committed to guiding clients through these challenging processes with reassurance. Developing this team at Switalskis allows us to fill an important gap and make a meaningful impact in Yorkshire’s legal market.”
David Greenwood, director and solicitor at Switalskis, commented, “Inheritance disputes are often overlooked in our region, as the Ministry of Justice figures show. Sandra’s dedication and experience make her an ideal fit to lead this new service. Her compassion and negotiation skills will ensure our clients receive the highest level of support and the best possible outcomes.”
Sandra will be based at Switalskis’ Doncaster office, serving clients across the Yorkshire region.
