Specialist Yorkshire law firm expands footprint with seventh office in West Yorkshire 

JWP Solicitors has announced the opening of their newest office on Grattan Road, Bradford. This expansion marks the firm’s seventh site in West Yorkshire and aims to improve access to legal advice in Bradford. 

The latest addition to their network of offices aims to enhance accessibility to expert legal advice for clients in Bradford and the surrounding areas.  

Established in 2000, JWP Solicitors has steadily developed a reputation for providing comprehensive legal services across family and children law, wills and probate, criminal defence, and more. The firm also has offices in Wakefield, Leeds, Pontefract, Batley, and Huddersfield.  

The firm will offer both in-person and remote consultations from their brand new office and maintain their 24-hour emergency contact services for urgent family, domestic violence, and criminal defence cases. 

Meet the leadership of the new Bradford office 

Directors Lois Monks and Damien Dobson will lead the new Bradford office.  

Damien, who joined the firm in 2014 and became a director in 2021, brings extensive expertise in child care, adult care, and mental health law. he is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel and regularly represents children, parents, and grandparents in complex cases within both the family and high courts.  

Reflecting on the office opening, Damien said, “The new office sits prominently in the centre of Bradford, a short walk from the Magistrates’ Court and transport links of the City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for us to expand the business into a new area of West Yorkshire, and we’ve already brought on board new team members to help us take the business forward.” 

Lois Monks, who began her journey at JWP as a trainee in 2012 and rose to director status in 2021, has significant experience in public law proceedings. her work frequently involves representing children and families in the high court, family proceedings court, and county court. lois expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “This latest site opening demonstrates our continued commitment to the West Yorkshire region, and we look forward to becoming a part of the local community.”
