Yorkshire firm JWP Solicitors has appointed three new directors to its board.
Joanne Whitehead, Lois Monks and Damien Dobson have each been instrumental in growing the business at JWP in recent years, and these promotions reflect the crucial roles they play.
Between them, the three new directors have close to 30 years of experience at JWP, where they regularly represent clients in family and children cases, hold numerous accreditations with organisations such as the Law Society of England and Wales children panel, and have a wealth of experience in public and family law proceedings.
John Wilkinson, director at JWP, commented: “Jo, Damien and Lois have each played a key role in the development of the family and childcare departments here at JWP over the last decade or so. They’re each an integral part of the JWP team as well as being hugely talented and very well respected solicitors in the child care arena.”
The new directors will work alongside existing Wilkinson, Amanda Steele and Gareth Long to drive the business forward.
Founding JWP director John Wood retired this month after more than 20 years spent building the business from its formation at the site of a former wool stapler in Cheapside, Wakefield.
JWP has gone from strength to strength and continued its commitment to the Yorkshire region with three additional sites in Pontefract, Leeds and Batley.
