Six promotions have been made at law firm Ison Harrison‘s offices across Yorkshire.
Ben Palmer, Olivia Williams, Jordan Grimbley, Nicola Hunter, Natalie Clayton, Faye Chadwick have all been elevated to partner status at the firm.
This most recent round of promotions comes after Ison Harrison’s successful conversion to employee ownership at the start of 2022.
Hunter joined the firm as a family solicitor in August 2018. Having worked at its Otley and Guiseley branches, Hunter will take on the responsibility of running and building up Ison Harrison’s private family offering.
Clayton joined Ison Harrison nine years ago as an apprentice in the cashiers’ team and rose through the ranks to become assistant head of the firm’s largest team, the new build division, by mid-2022. Clayton now works at Ison Harrison’s head office in Leeds City Centre.
Faye Chadwick, a specialist in new construction properties, joined the team as a conveyancing lawyer in August 2019 and has served as manager of the Wakefield branch. Chadwick has expanded the firm’s presence in Wakefield and throughout West Yorkshire.
Ben Palmer, a corporate employment solicitor, works at the Leeds City Centre office. Palmer joined Ison Harrison’s regional team in 2021 and has over 16 years of employment experience. He has represented a range of clients, including airlines, PLCs, and pharmaceutical firms, as well as manufacturers.
As a conveyancing assistant, Grimbley joined the new build team in 2017. Before beginning his training contract in 2018, he worked as a fee earner.
Grimbley modified his skills to wills and probate law after initially planning to practise commercial litigation. Just over three years after initially joining the firm, Grimbley qualified as a will and probate solicitor in 2020. Since then, he has established a practice in Castleford.
Commenting on the promotions, Jonathan Wearing, managing director at Ison Harrison, said: “This series of promotions is our second of 2023 and continues the successful year we’re having.
“These newest strategic promotions come just 18 months after the firm became entirely employee owned. Since becoming employee-owned, the firm has gone from strength to strength, increasing its commercial offering significantly to include corporate, litigation, employment and commercial property for an ever-growing commercial client base.”
