Hudgell Solicitors moves into new Leeds premises

Hudgell Solicitors has moved into new premises in Leeds.

The specialist personal injury and clinical negligence firm, which has its headquarters in Hull, has been in Leeds since 2010 and has now set up in its new £750,000 offices in Park Place. Set over four floors, the office will house more than 30 staff.

Group head of operations, Michelle Maltby, said that having a presence in Leeds had proved very beneficial for the firm.

“Our team in Leeds are now regularly handling personal injury and medical negligence claims with values of six-and seven figures, reflecting the serious nature of the cases our team takes on, and the need for dedicated, experienced solicitors in the region who have track records of successfully representing their clients,” she said.

“Alongside our long-established headquarters in Hull, having a growing presence in Leeds has helped us establish a really strong reputation and to cement our position in the north of England as a leader in personal injury and medical negligence.
“We are fully confident that this extra investment and commitment in Leeds will only strengthen our position in those terms, and that we can continue to grow our service and client base.”

Medical negligence specialist Caroline Murgatroyd, who has been based in the Leeds practice since its launch, was recently shortlisted in the Rising Star category for the Yorkshire Legal Awards. The winners will be announced in October.
