Holden Smith opens new office in Horsforth

Law firm Holden Smith has opened a new office in Horsforth ahead of a planned period of growth.

Solicitor and recent recruit Leanne Pollard (pictured, left) is leading the new office, which is the firm’s fifth, and drive growth of its family law services across Yorkshire and the north.

Holden Smith, whose other offices are located in Denby Dale, Elland, Leeds Crossgates, and Ilkley, launched in 2019 and now employs more than 100 people.

James Smith, who co-founded the law firm with David Bancroft (pictured, right and middle, respectively) and Jamie Megson, said: “Our Horsforth office will bolster and expand our services across all areas of family law.

“We are delighted Leanne has joined us to help deliver our next stage of growth—she is a highly regarded family law specialist whose knowledge and experience will be hugely beneficial to our clients.”

Bancroft added: “We have experienced rapid growth in the last 12 months, growing the firm to a team of more than 100 people. We have ambitious plans for the coming year, and now is the right time for our fifth branch to open.”

Pollard, who joins Holden Smith as head of family law, expressed her delight at joining the law firm to lead the new Horsforth office “at such an exciting time”.

She said: “I have followed the team’s journey so far and have been impressed by their dedication and approach to combining the latest legal technology with outstanding client interactions to deliver exceptional levels of service.”

Holden Smith is looking to recruit more new staff as it continues to grow.
