Weightmans has appointed Dave Shorrock as a consultant in its regulatory services team in Leeds.
Shorrock, a chartered member of IOSH and former principal inspector with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), will assist the regulatory team’s clients nationwide by providing advice and insight to assist them in responding to regulatory challenges.
Dave has extensive experience leading investigations into fatalities and serious injuries in a wide range of environments, including the manufacturing, refuse and recycling and health care sectors.

Dave Shorrock said that having spent years working on the prosecution side of regulatory enforcement, he knew the pitfalls faced by organisations of all sizes and sectors.
“My experience allows me to provide Weightmans and its clients with insight from the other side of proceedings. I look forward to using this knowledge to further strengthen such a dynamic and skilled regulatory team,” he said.
