Gateley has been named as the UK legal adviser to global steel engineering group Waagner-Biro Stahlbau.
With its HQ in Vienna, the group has more than 1,000 employees in 15 locations across Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Waagner-Biro Stahlbau work on cutting-edge projects, including major international landmarks such as the dome of the Reichstag in Berlin, the roof of the British Museum, the dome of the Gherkin in London, the staging and acoustics of Sydney Opera House, and the Yas Marina Hotel in Abu Dhabi (located in the middle of the Formula One track).
Gateley’s construction team won the Waagner-Biro Stahlbau contract following a competitive tender against a number of City law firms, it said in an announcement.
