DLA Piper will be running an It’s a Knockout summer gala on Sunday 10 July at Roundhay Park in Leeds.
The event is being organised in aid of Maggie’s Yorkshire, a charity that offers care to people diagnosed with cancer. It also provides support for families and friends of cancer victims. Maggie’s is currently raising funds to open a new cancer centre in Leeds at St James’ Hospital.
Teams of ten will compete against each other in a series of competitive whacky games. Run by the official BBC It’s a Knockout company, participants will enjoy original equipment and costumes from the BBC hit show which have been hired by DLA Piper.
Various food, drink, arts and craft stalls will be attending on the day, including a double decker London bus bar, an American school bus and an old steam train that serves pizza.
A number of celebrities from both the world of sport and TV are expected to attend the event.
The cost to participate is £300 for a team of ten, all of which will be donated to Maggie’s. The firm has 35 team spaces available.

A £50 deposit is required to reserve your team’s place.
