DLA Piper announces sponsorship with Regional Manufacturing Forum in Sheffield

DLA Piper’s Sheffield office is to sponsor the Regional Manufacturing Forum.

The firm joins HSBC, PWC and Sheffield Hallam University as sponsors of the Forum, which is an organisation run by manufacturers for manufacturers, in partnership with the Cutlers’ Company, all the Chambers of Commerce in the region and the EEF members in the region. It also acts as the Manufacturing Sector Group for the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership.

The Forum’s objective is to support and promote manufacturing businesses in the Sheffield city region.

“We are very proud to be able to join forces with other leading organisations in the city and support the regions manufacturing industry”.

The Manufacturing Forum recently held an event at Cutler’s Hall on ‘Doing Business in UAE’ in conjunction with the International Trade Forum. It was attended by Catherine Simister and Ashley Mott, both partners at DLA Piper’s Sheffield office.

Peter Hoy, the Forum’s chairman, said: “We are delighted that DLA Piper have joined us as sponsors, with their wealth of experience in the manufacturing sector they will add value to both our members and the Regional Manufacturing Forum’s activities. We look forward to working with the team at DLA Piper for the benefit of the manufacturing sector in the Sheffield City Region”.
