Leeds-based firm Clarion has reported growth with a turnover of over £30 million in the 2022/2023 financial year.
Achieving double-digit growth for the ninth year in a row, with an increase of 15% year on year, the report marks a 112% growth in the past five years.
Growth in corporate, real estate and private wealth
Recently recognised for being one of the fastest-growing law firms in Europe, the corporate practice grew by 23%, capitalising on a year of strong liquidity with a surge in both international and national investments.
The corporate team worked across a total of 55 deals including acquisitions by logistics operator Expert Distribution, international manufacturer Autajon Group, security provider in the hospitality industry Professional Security and a fast-growing European business, Assisi Pet Care Limited.
The Real Estate team achieved growth of 21%, driven by a strong development across the region.
Elsewhere, the Private Wealth team achieved impressive growth of 24%. Already established as one of the largest private client teams in Yorkshire, with rankings for Court of Protection in Chambers, the team focused on showcasing its expertise nationwide to support clients across the UK.
Growth beyond Yorkshire
The firm has a growing national portfolio including brands such as Persimmon Homes Limited, Frasers Group plc, GXO Logistics, Inc. and ASICS UK Limited.
The firm also strengthened its international footing, doubling the number of countries it facilitates clients into 75 worldwide, including Australia, France and Germany. As part of its ongoing growth plans, Clarion is dedicated to building relationships with international firms and partners whose values align with its existing culture.
