Clarion celebrates 88% retention rate in 2023

This autumn, Clarion has retained seven of its newly qualified solicitors.

As of 2023, Clarion’s trainee programme has an 88% retention rate. The firm aims to supports young people entering the legal profession. They offer an apprenticeship programme, paralegal development and external and internal mentoring.

Martin Grange, partner and training principal at Clarion, said: “Our well-established and engaging training programme has expanded over the years, and we are proud to once again celebrate so many young people successfully completing their training contracts and qualifying at Clarion.”

Martin went on to acknowledge the enthusiasm of the 2023 cohort. He stated that it is always satisfying to see colleagues developing their skills.

Amy Parry has joined the commercial dispute resolution team. Melissa Rycroft and Harry Beckett both qualified into the commercial property practice.

Jonathan Schneider and Rebecca Walters have both  qualified into corporate and Brandon Bradley moved into family. Finally, Laura Savio became part of the intellectual property team.

Helen explained that Clarion aims to provide a positive and supportive working environment. This, she feels, enables them to keep talent and ensure that they have an engaged team.

The Lawyer” have recognised Clarion as Europe’s third fastest growing law firm. They also named Clarion ‘the independent firm of the year’. The Times also featured Clarion in The Times Best Law Firms 2024.
