Clarion has added a new associate to its construction team.
Humera Rashid has joined Clarion’s construction team, which is led by partner Phil Morrison. They are supported by trainee Joseph Williams.
Rashid brings a wealth of knowledge to Clarion, after working in construction litigation within private practice for the past seven years.
After completing a LLB at the University of Bradford, Rashid was admitted as a fellow of CILEX in June 2018, as well as having undertaken a legal practice course at the College of Law and a professional skills course at the University of Law.
Morrison said: “The specialist construction services we offer are proving very popular given the continued buoyancy of the region’s commercial property market.”
“As a result, we are delighted to have made this new appointment to help service the work being referred to us by colleagues and also from clients who are coming to us direct. Humera has a bright future ahead and we are pleased that she will be bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to this growing team.”
Rashid added: “It’s a real privilege to have been accepted onto a team—and into a firm—that is experiencing such amazing growth. It reflects the confidence that clients have in both the construction team and in Clarion, as well as the huge amount of experience and expertise that Phil brings to his role. I can’t wait to progress my career as part of such a new, exciting and fast-developing team.”
Clarion’s 19-strong real estate team provides a full range of property expertise, from development, investment, asset management, corporate occupier work through to retail, leisure and secured lending.
