The Yorkshire Legal Awards will be a double celebration this year—of the legal sector’s best and brightest within the region, as always, but also the fact that this will be the 20th such ceremony. Both are testaments to the strength of the sector and its willingness to reward those who make it thrive.
After 20 years of success that has seen Leeds and Yorkshire leap ahead of its rivals outside of London, the search is on to identify the next batch of Yorkshire’s leading legal professionals.
As well as providing entrants with a chance to celebrate and network with key contacts, the awards identify high standards of practice and inspire others to emulate the achievements demonstrated by those who have been shortlisted.
Don’t miss out on celebrating the achievements of the past year—and joining a must-attend 20th celebration of everything that makes the legal sector in Yorkshire truly stand out.
The 20th Annual Yorkshire Legal Awards will be held at New Dock Hall on 10 October, where 1,000 attendees will gather to celebrate the achievements of the entire sector within the region.
Competition within each of the categories is expected to be fierce, so submit your entries as early as possible to ensure that you are considered alongside the best and brightest in Yorkshire.
Nominations are open across the award categories, covering everyone from the biggest corporate firms to leading barristers, from senior partners to rising stars. One new award category has been added for this year’s event, in response to the increasing need for small- and medium-sized businesses to protect vital cashflow.
The new Debt Recovery award aims to recognise the work of the region’s leading lawyers and teams in debt recovery, particularly those that have kept customers satisfied while demonstrating significant integrity.
Nominations for the 20th Annual Yorkshire Legal Awards close on 28 June. They can be made via www.yorkshirelegalnews.co.uk/nominate and all lawyers, teams and firms from across the region are encouraged to enter.
The independent judging panel for the 20th Annual Yorkshire Legal Awards is made up of the very best of the profession. Work is currently underway to assemble the panel, so stay tuned for further announcements.
