Winston Solicitors strengthens specialist team with appointment of Continuing Healthcare expert

Winston Solicitors has further expanded its specialist legal offering with the appointment of Hannah Morris as a Continuing Healthcare (CHC) lawyer.

Hannah joins the firm with over fifteen years’ experience supporting individuals and their families in securing NHS Continuing Healthcare funding. She advises on eligibility, challenges decisions where funding has been refused or withdrawn, assists families to apply for CHC, and provides effective advocacy for clients. She has a long-standing focus on helping families access the care they are legally entitled to during often difficult and stressful times.

With a proven track record of securing both retrospective and ongoing funding for clients, Hannah brings extensive expertise in navigating the complexities of the CHC system. She has also played a key role in developing teams and training others within this highly specialised area of law.

Hannah Morris said: “I’m pleased to be joining Winston Solicitors and to continue supporting families through what can often be a very challenging process. While many people feel frustrated having to fight for funding, the real issue is when individuals are left paying for care that should have been covered by the NHS. Being able to help clients secure the support they’re entitled to and provide reassurance along the way is incredibly important to me.”

James Urquhart-Burton, Head of Continuing Healthcare at Winston Solicitors, said: “We are delighted to welcome Hannah to the firm. Her depth of experience and commitment to achieving fair outcomes for clients make her a fantastic addition to our team. Continuing Healthcare is a complex and often misunderstood area, and Hannah’s appointment further strengthens our ability to support clients with clear, expert guidance during what can be very challenging circumstances.”

Hannah’s appointment reflects Winston Solicitors’ continued investment in specialist services, enhancing the firm’s ability to support clients across England with complex care funding matters.
