Ward Hadaway is celebrating 10 years since the opening of its office in Leeds city centre.
Since its opening in Wellington Place in Leeds city centre, Ward Hadaway has capitalised on the region’s growing food and drink sector. The firm created and runs the Industry Leaders’ Forum, designed to bring together leading figures in the world of food and drink to share insights, as well as hosting a recent street food event to help celebrate its 10-year anniversary.
Other areas of success include growth in the firm’s property team led by Kevin Weston, who alongside Jonathan Dickson, has been with Ward Hadaway since it opened office in Leeds in 2008.
Established in Newcastle 20 years earlier, Ward Hadaway now has 75-plus people working from its office in Leeds, and is proud to have settled in the same area as the likes of Burberry and Sky Bet.
John Murray, executive partner for the Ward Hadaway Leeds office, said: “We’re very proud that our firm has developed at such a rate, and that we count regional, national and international businesses of all sizes among our client base, as well as working across the public sector.”
“As Leeds continues to grow and expand, two things remain at the heart of our approach—our clients and our people. And we continually invest in both.”
Since opening, the Leeds office has hosted a number of fundraising initiatives such as the Great Legal Bake, Legal Walk for the Yorkshire Legal Support Trust and employees also took part in a 3 Points North 30th anniversary relay event, running 135 miles between Ward Hadaway’s offices in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle for COCO and the Greggs Foundation.
John added: “We don’t know what the next 10 years will bring, but what we can promise is the same level of commitment and service excellence with a smile that has come to define Ward Hadaway and its reputation.”
“Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our success story, we truly appreciate your support and we very much look forward to another successful 10 years.”
