As part of their ongoing investment in people, Thornton Jones Solicitors has undertaken their progression programme for the second year running. The aim is to identify and reward individuals who wish to progress in their legal careers. This year has seen the appointment of a new partner and two new senior associates.
Colleagues are encouraged to apply to be part of the progression programme which aims at offering individuals the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and their want to progress by undergoing a rigorous process which includes interviews, presenting to the board and obtaining feedback from their colleagues.
This year, Thornton Jones is proud to have been able to promote three colleagues to more senior positions. Amanda Gait has been promoted from senior associate solicitor to partner and Melanie Pickering and Claire Ward have both been promoted to senior associate solicitor.
Clare Thornton, managing director of Thornton Jones commented: “We are so passionate about our people, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone has equal opportunities to develop. Our progression programme is our annual commitment to providing those opportunities. Our leadership team is dedicated to providing the team with the skills and experience they need to be promising candidates. We are proud of everyone successful in securing promotion and I wish them all well in their new roles”.
