Sixth year in a row of double digit growth for Shulmans

Shulmans has reported double digit growth for the sixth year in a row, taking the business above a £12m turnover.

Fee income at the firm is up 14.5% on last year, with profits 18% higher. According to managing partner Tim Halstead, the increase is a result of the firm’s focus on excellence.

“We set out six years ago to develop the business by concentrating on equipping and encouraging our colleagues to deliver excellent work”, he said.  “For us, growth is not so much an aim in itself, but a consequence of doing those things well.”

In the last 12 months the firm has attracted work from a wealth of new clients, including working with AIM-listed 21st Century Technology, bus and coach manufacturers Optare and online betting giant Betfred.

Shulmans recently signed up for a lease of two thirds of the third floor at Wellington Place, where it has occupied the first and second floor since June 2014
