Ramdens appoints new head of IT

Ramsdens Solicitors has appointed Graeme Thomson as the head of its internal IT department.

Thomson (pictured) brings with him more than 25 years of experience within professional services and IT, with a specialism in law and case management software.

He previously led and managed change and system design across multiple brands at a Manchester-based firm. He also managed the end-to-end process analysis and design of a new case management system for an international law firm.

Commenting on his appointment at Ramsdens, Thomson, who is based in Brighouse, said: “I’m excited by the opportunity to work with such a significant and successful law firm. I’ve been welcomed with open arms by the business and I am looking forward to the challenge of guiding the IT and training strategy alongside the needs of the whole business in a rapidly changing marketplace, to improve our service to both clients and internal users.”

Paul Joyce, managing partner at Ramsdens, added: “We are delighted to welcome Graeme to the firm. He has a wealth of experience that can aid and benefit our IT provision across our business, which in return will help to strengthen our services and the support available to our colleagues and clients.”
