Emsleys Solicitors has made a series of appointments and promotions, including a new head of family law and a dispute resolution specialist.
Rosalind Blaza joins the Leeds-based law firm as head of family law, while Ikram Amin is its new dispute resolution specialist.
Blaza, who has more than 20 years of post-qualification experience in civil litigation, began specialising in family law from 2010 onwards.
She gained her Law Society family law panel accreditation in recognition of her experience in dealing with divorce and financial cases, including complex high net asset cases with an emphasis on significant agricultural farming and commercial assets.
Blaza has also led complex children cases and is a member of Resolution.
The Emsleys family department has also seen the arrival of experienced support colleagues Ellie Wheelton and Beverley Danby in recent months.
Amin, meanwhile, joins Emsleys after gaining more than 20 years of experience in dispute resolution, property litigation, employment, business crime and regulatory work.
He will represent businesses and individuals who are looking for legal defence support for challenges covering a number of industries and issues, including fraud, health and safety, HM Revenue & Customs/VAT investigations and General Medical Council/Health and Care Professionals Tribunal Service fitness to practise investigations.

Emsleys has also promoted notary public Will Armstrong and Natalie Mousavi, of the firm’s personal injury team, to associate director, along with Emma Milner, who leads the new build conveyancing team.
